This is a rear extension and remodel of a modern terraced development in Islington. The front and rear of the existing house had been designed to address the neighbouring Conservation Area on one side, with glazing in tune with the neighbouring Victorian terraces, whilst the rear enjoys ample glazing towards an open green area. The existing building frame had been designed to allow extension into loggias and over terraces.
The first floor extension and internal remodel are the first phase of a larger extension project, currently working with the client to create a winter garden extension for a home office on the existing top terrace.
