As an integrated design team of architects and engineers we delivered a comprehensive energy masterplan to support the commune sustainable lifestyle.
Our joint interest in co-housing led to a design that expresses the shared ethos: the layered interlocking units allow people not only to interact on a daily basis but also alow housing units to adapt in size as the household increases or decreases.
We see the Scandinavian co-housing model as a socially responsible alternative to housing, defined through: quality of the home and its surroundings, inspiring shared spaces and ultimately owner-occupier value for money.
